KSrelief Continues Providing Health Care to Syrian Refugees
King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief (KSrelief ) Center continued implementing a project to enhance health care services for Syrian refugees in Akkar Governorate.
Syria Crisis
The crisis in Syria has been ongoing for over a decade, resulting in one of the worst humanitarian disasters of our time. The civil war has left millions of Syrians displaced.
The crisis has also led to a massive refugee crisis, with millions of Syrians fleeing their homes in search of safety and security.
As a result of the conflict, the need for a political solution to end the war became a necessity. Accordingly, the international community must come together to find a peaceful resolution to the crisis. Also, it has to provide the necessary aid and support to those affected by the conflict.
KSrelief Supports Syrian Refugees
Since the conflict began in 2011, the situation has only worsened over the years. In addition, it has left a humanitarian crisis in Syria.
Despite the ongoing conflict in Syria, KSrelief has been at the forefront of providing aid to Syrian refugees for years.
In response to the dire situation, KSrelief has been providing various forms of aid to Syrian refugees. The aid included providing, food, shelter, medical care, and education.
Syria Refugee Crisis
After over a decade of conflict, Syria remains the world’s largest refugee crisis. More than 6.8 million Syrians remain internally displaced in their own country where 70 percent of the population needs humanitarian assistance.
Syrians’ Greatest Challenges
Syrians have faced many challenges since their displacement, such as protracted displacement and economic decline in host countries.
In addition, millions of refugees have lost their livelihoods and are increasingly unable to meet their basic needs, including accessing clean water, electricity, and food.
