KSA Launches Platform for Camping Permits in Saudi Arabia
The National Center for the Development of Vegetation Cover and Combating Desertification has launched an online platform for issuing instant camping permits in Saudi Arabia.
This step would facilitate the experience of picnickers and those wishing to camp. The platform will help them quickly obtain the necessary permits to enjoy the vegetation-covered areas during the winter season.
The platform includes 51 different camping sites in 8 regions across the Kingdom, with a total capacity exceeding 13,650 campsites.
Those wishing to camp can apply for camping permits in Saudi Arabia within minutes through simple steps. Using mobile phones, they have to fill in the required data and register the site information through the following link https://nabati.ncvc.gov.sa/ncvc/?id=ncvc_home.
Camping Instructions
The ‘Vegetation Cover’ Center urges picnickers who wish to camp to preserve the vegetation cover and leave the place clean after camping.
Moreover, they have to avoid driving off the designated paths, and refrain from using local coal and wood to avoid penalties.
The center also emphasized the need to be cautious and careful while camping and check the weather conditions. Campers should bring adequate first aid equipment and sufficient amounts of water and food.
Moreover, they have to be wary of wildlife, and use campfire safely to preserve the vegetation cover.
It is worth noting that the center works on developing and protecting vegetation cover sites and rehabilitating the degraded ones.
