During the call, they stressed the historical strategic alliance between the Kingdom and the US, as well as the significance of deepening the two countries’ collaboration to serve their interests and achieve security and stability in the region.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques emphasized the importance of continuing and strengthening joint security cooperation between the US and the Kingdom in combating terrorism and its financing and praised the US commitment to assist the Kingdom in defending its lands and protecting its citizens.
The Kingdom supports the US administration’s efforts to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon, as well as the need for joint action to confront Iran’s destructive activities in the region while emphasizing the Kingdom’s desire to remove all causes of escalation in the region and to continue the dialogue, he said.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques also expressed the Kingdom’s desire to reach a comprehensive political solution in Yemen, as well as its desire to achieve security and development for the Yemeni people, emphasizing the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to provide humanitarian aid to Yemenis and to rebuild Yemen.
In terms of energy and oil markets, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques emphasized the significance of maintaining oil market balance and stability, stressing the historic OPEC Plus agreement’s role in this and the importance of keeping it.
