King Salman directs to extend Eid al-Fitr holiday to 15 days

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques HRH King Salman ordered that Eid Al-Fitr holiday for students in Saudi Arabia to begin on the 21st of Ramadan, rather than the 25th, as was previously planned. 

 Saudi Press Agency said, “the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman directed to amend the start of the vacation for all students to start from the end of the working hours on Thursday 4/21/2022.” 

The agency added, “HRH’s directive comes from his keenness to facilitate on the students, and based on what was presented by the Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister.” 

The Eid holiday was scheduled to start from 25 Ramadan, which falls on April 26, while the date for the end of the holiday remained on May 7.
