Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport has embarked on its largest operational transformation since opening more than four decades ago, according to Gulf News.

This transformation marks the first historic overhaul and comprehensive redistribution of airline operations across all terminals.

Under the ‘Terminal Transition’ project, Riyadh Airports Company is reorganizing terminal allocations to further elevate operational efficiency and streamline passenger flow at the Saudi capital’s main gateway.

Therefore, Terminals 1 and 2 at King Khalid International Airport are dedicated to international flights operated by Saudi national carriers from today, February 16.

Meanwhile, Terminal 4 will handle domestic services for national airlines, starting February 24.
