Kerry opens its MENAT largest facility in Saudi Arabia

Kerry Group, the food manufacturer, has opened a new plant in Jeddah, its largest in the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey region (MENAT) region at 21,500 square feet and one of the worlds most modern and efficient.

The new plant will focus on creating unique and long-lasting food components and flavouring goods for all Middle Eastern markets.

Edmond Scanlon, Chief Executive of Kerry Group, said the consumer-led food revolution and the world’s environmental challenges are reshaping the entire food industry.

“The opening of our new facility at our Jeddah site is part of our commitment to continuing to grow our presence across the Middle East where we have invested over €80 million since 2018.”

He added that the company’s continued growth and investment reflect the growing number of consumers in the region who are adopting a more proactive approach to their health and wellbeing.

The company will deploy its creative worldwide technology suited to local tastes in its new factory, which now employs roughly 130 people.

It also aids food and beverage firms in meeting customer demand for healthier, tastier, and more sustainable foods and beverages in the region.
