KAUST has maintained its position for a second year in a row, in a testament to its academic excellence, pioneering scientific research, and strategic investment.

Furthermore, this ranking highlights the rapid progress under the “Accelerating Impact” strategy, adopted in 2023. It also underscores KAUST commitment to the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, particularly in boosting the global status of Saudi Arabia’s educational institutions.

On this occasion, KAUST President, Professor Sir Edward Byrne AC, noted that achieving this milestone for a second consecutive year is a clear indication of KAUST’s significant impact.

Moreover, it establishes the University’s position as a global hub for innovation and knowledge, enhances the Kingdom’s global status, and highlights our transformative role in shaping a future driven by scientific and technological leadership, Professor Byrne added.

Securing the first position in the THE Arab University Rankings for 2023 and 2024 demonstrates the University’s expanding influence and leadership in the Arab and international academic communities.
