KAUST, Jeddah Yacht Club Sign MoU for Educational Collaboration

The King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) today with the Jeddah Yacht Club and Marina. This MoU aims to enhance collaboration in various activities and knowledge exchange in the areas of educational programs and research.

Chris Sealey, KAUST’s Vice President for Community Services, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership. He said, “We at KAUST are very pleased with the research opportunities, community collaboration, and the recreational facilities at the Jeddah Yacht Club.”

“These facilities offer an excellent option for our growing community and their families. We believe this partnership will not only enhance our research and educational programs but will also foster a sense of belonging among our community at KAUST and the broader community in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”

From the Jeddah Yacht Club and Marina, General Manager Oliver Reese shared his excitement about partnering with KAUST. He said: “This is a pivotal moment in our journey, and we look forward to the added value we can all bring to this MoU.”
