
The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) has concluded the 10th edition of its renowned iRead competition, held under the inspiring theme “Reading leaves a lasting impression.” The closing ceremony took place at Ithra’s headquarters in Dhahran, with Saudi Aramco President and CEO Amin Nasser in attendance, alongside an array of distinguished intellectuals, authors, and literary figures from Saudi Arabia and across the Arab world.

Finalists from Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, and Libya showcased their talents in the concluding round, presenting selected readings, engaging in thoughtful debates, and responding to knowledge-based questions. Their performances earned several participants notable titles recognizing their excellence and dedication.
Spanning two days, the festival offered a rich lineup of activities—including book signings, author meet-and-greets, poetry performances, panel discussions, and lively debates—all designed to rekindle the public’s passion for reading.
