Israelis are not welcome in the Kingdom: Saudi Foreign Minister
Saudi Foreign Minister, Faisal bin Farhan, asserted recently that the Israelis are not welcome in his country, after Israel officially allowed its citizens to visit the Kingdom.
”We strongly encourage a peaceful solution to this conflict,” the Saudi minister said in an interview with the American CNN.
“When a peace agreement is reached between the Palestinians and Israelis, the issue of Israel’s engagement in its regional environment will be on the table, I think.” He said.
The aforementioned statements from the Saudi Foreign Affairs come after the issuance of a decision by the Israeli Ministry of the Interior that allows its Muslim citizens to travel to the Kingdom to perform the rituals of Hajj and Umrah or to hold meetings between businessmen.
Faisal bin Farhan added, “Our policy is fixed. We do not have relations with the State of Israel and the holders of the Israeli passport cannot visit the Kingdom at the present time,”
