Islamic Affairs Launches Fasting Program in Burkina Faso
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, represented by the Religious Attaché at the Kingdom’s Embassy in Mauritania, inaugurated today the “Gift of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques” program to break the fast for fasting program in Burkina Faso. The event took place at the headquarters of the Federal Union of Islamic Associations in the capital, Ouagadougou.
Fasting Program, Dignitaries Present
The fasting program was attended by Ambassador Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al-Dosari, the Saudi Ambassador to Burkina Faso, Dr. Sidi Mohamed Maïga, President of the Presidential Council of the Federal Union of Islamic Associations, Abdullah Al-Mutairi, the Religious Attaché at the Kingdom’s Embassy in Mauritania, and several heads of Islamic associations.
Program Beneficiaries
The fasting program in Burkina Faso serves as a lifeline for over 7,000 Muslim individuals, underscoring the unwavering support of the Saudi government for Muslims globally, particularly during this auspicious month. Its primary goal is to extend aid to fasting individuals to meet their religious responsibilities.
