International Dates Exhibition kicks off in Riyadh on Thursday
The Foreign Dates Exhibition will open in Riyadh on Thursday and run for five days, with some local and international date growers and farmers taking part.
The National Center for Palms and Dates will be in charge of this expo, which will take place at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center.
The event is the Kingdom’s and the world’s largest yearly gathering of date farmers and consumers. It also aims to increase the market value of Saudi dates and help the kingdom become the world’s first date exporter.
It intends to improve local market competitiveness, educate the community to promote local date consumption, expand e-commerce marketplaces for dates, and encourage young entrepreneurs to start enterprises in the palm and dates sector.
