Pilgrims traveling through Saudi Arabia’s airports can take Zamzam water home by following official procedures set by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
To ensure a smooth process, the ministry advises purchasing Zamzam bottles only from authorized sales points at the airport. These bottles must be placed on designated conveyor belts for handling and should not be packed in checked luggage.
Each pilgrim is permitted to carry one bottle and must present a valid Umrah visa or a permit via the Nusuk app to complete the process.
Sourced from the sacred well near the Kaaba in Makkah, Zamzam water holds deep spiritual significance for Muslims. These guidelines help streamline the process while maintaining the water’s sanctity and quality, ensuring compliance with airport regulations.
