Houthi militia members fired five military missiles from Yemeni territory towards villages in the Jizan region without casualties, announced the Saudi Civil Defense today.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the deputy media spokesperson for the Civil Defense Directorate in the Jazan region, Lieutenant Colonel Muhannad bin Jasser Zailai, said: “The Civil Defense received a report about the fall of several military projectiles launched by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia from inside Yemen on one of the border villages in the Jizan region. It became clear that five military projectiles had fallen near the main road, without any injuries.”
Last Thursday, the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen had announced that it was intercepting and destroying a car bomb march launched by the Houthi militia towards Jizan.
“We are taking operational measures to protect civilians from terrorist attacks,” the alliance assured.
