Explore Private Island: Cruise Saudi Unveils Exclusive Destination for Cruise Passengers
Cruise Saudi, the leading company of the Kingdom’s cruise tourism sector, has signed a contract with PC Marine Services company to develop a private island in the Red Sea.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the private island will be an exclusive destination to welcome cruise ship passengers.
Strong Commitment
Signed at Cruise Saudi’s headquarters in Jeddah, the new project mirrors the company’s commitment to fostering the cruise sector in the Kingdom and unleashing new avenues to entertain tourists worldwide.
The island also aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 to cut oil dependency, diversify the national economy, and increase the contribution of tourism to the GDP.

Interestingly, the island will present a stunning image of the authentic Saudi heritage and traditional customs through its exceptional designs and enthralling experiences.
Set to be the first island in the Red Sea dedicated to receiving cruise ship passengers, the island offers an unprecedented destination on the map of marine tourism in the Kingdom.
It will provide visitors with several recreational activities – both coastal and water – and various facilities and services to ensure seamless and unforgettable experiences.
With a capacity of 2,000 guests in the first phase, the island will offer extraordinary services including a reception center, a dedicated area for restaurants, a beach club, private villas, a sunbathing area, and other facilities.
Significant Milestone

Cruise Saudi Executive Director of Commercial and Business Development, Mashhoor Baeshen, stated that the current project aims basically to boost the marine tourism sector in the Kingdom.
Baeshen added that the island will represent a standout attraction for visitors exploring the Red Sea.
In the same context, PC Marine Services President and Chief Executive Adnan Alshareef, said that the New Island Project represents a significant opportunity to strengthen the development of the Kingdom’s maritime infrastructure.
The island is expected to start welcoming visitors and tourists by December 2024.
