KSA Wide School Theater Festival Winds Up
The Kingdom-wide School Theater Festival came to an end on Wednesday.
Six educational departments—Riyadh, Taif, Hail, Qassim, Al-Ula, and Al-Rass—participated in the event.
A number of prominent figures in education were invited, including Dr. Saad bin Awad Al-Harbi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education.
Importance Of School Theater
During this Theater Festival, the Undersecretary for Educational Programs made a speech emphasizing the role that school theater plays in educating students.
Additionally, he thanked and expressed his gratitude to the Najran Education Administration for planning and hosting the Theater Festival.
He mentioned the Theater Festival’s excellent outputs, their distinctiveness from a variety of activities.
The Director General of Najran Education noted that this festival serves as both a showcase for the nation’s talent in the theater.
The school festival shed the light on the theatrical creativity of both genders of students and the discovery of their talents.
In addition, the festival represents the beginning of the unveiling of artistic and creative talents in this field.
Closing Of Theater Festival
Students from Najran’s education schools, both male and female, performed in the operetta “Vision Generation” during the closing ceremony.
The closing ceremony of the festival honored the jury committees and participants before revealing the teams’ final standings.
In the Best Actor Award, student Rayan Al-Qarni from Taif Education won the first place, followed by student Al-Waleed Al-Saidi from Hail Education.
Raghad Fahd Al-Harbi from Al-Rass came in the second place, and Ritalal Muhammad Rashid from Al-Ula came in the third place.
The play “The Book of Curiosities in the Time of Wonders” from Hail Education won two awards for best theatrical and integrated script.
The play “ancestral heritage” earned the Best Integrated Work Award, and director Sita Al-Sabhan from Hail Education took home the Best Direction Award.
