Elm, SAL Collaborate on Digitizing Logistics Services

Elm Company has signed an agreement with SAL Logistics Services to develop a new integrated digital logistics platform, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

The deal seeks to foster the efficiency of logistics operations and boost SAL’s airport stations with innovative solutions.

At the same time, this collaboration also aims to harness Elm’s technical experiences to build a comprehensive digital ecosystem that supports SAL’s strategy of accelerating the pace of digital transformation.

Notably, both companies will digitize key services, such as shipment scheduling, payment processing, delivery notifications, as well as appointment booking.

Therefore, the deal will play a key role in speeding up operations, simplifying procedures, and enhancing transparency and reliability across the various stages of the supply chain.

Elm CEO Mohammed Al Omair said that the partnership served as a significant opportunity to implement technical solutions in the logistics sector. Moreover, he noted that they will intensify their efforts to create a qualitative transformation in this dynamic sector, aligning with market demands while boosting operational efficiency.

On his part, Omar Hariri, CEO of SAL Logistics, noted that the deal stands as a testament to the company’s ongoing commitment to boosting digital transformation and blending its expertise in the logistics sector with Elm’s advanced technical capabilities to provide smart, integrated solutions.

Such solutions “will revolutionize customer experience and enhance the Kingdom’s role as a global logistics hub,” Hariri added.
