These collaborative initiatives resulted in the creation of eight logistics zones and centers. Located at the prominent Jeddah Islamic Port and King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam, these facilities foster growth. They attracted private sector investment amounting to approximately SAR2.9 billion.
In total, these developments contribute to over SAR10 billion worth of investments spread across 18 logistics zones throughout Saudi ports. Mawani’s commitment to infrastructure growth plays a vital role in modernizing logistics capabilities in the Kingdom.

Mawani has also enhanced connectivity by introducing over 30 new shipping services. These services link Saudi ports with their eastern and western counterparts, bolstering the Kingdom’s maritime navigation network. This improvement plays a crucial role in supporting both imports and exports, facilitating greater trade opportunities.
Impressive Growth in Cargo Volumes
As a result of these extensive efforts, Mawani experienced a notable increase in cargo handled at its supervised ports. The total cargo volume surged by 14.45% during 2024, reflecting the impact of enhanced logistics capabilities. Additionally, exported containers saw an impressive rise of 8.86%, while imported containers climbed by 13.79%.
