Egypt condemns Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia

Egypt condemned the continued Houthi attacks and terrorist assaults on Saudi territory, the most recent of which was the firing of three drones into the Kingdom’s south, which were successfully intercepted by coalition troops fighting for Yemen’s sovereignty.

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry stated in a statement that “the repeat of these Houthi attacks constitutes a danger to Saudi Arabia’s security and stability, as well as a flagrant breach of international law.”

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs underlined its country’s “renewed complete sympathy with Saudi Arabia in the actions it is taking to face these abhorrent terrorist attacks,” emphasizing “the tight relationship between the two brotherly nations’ security and stability.”
