
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the Cabinet session in Jeddah. He briefed the Cabinet on the message received from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi concerning bilateral relations and ways to strengthen cooperation in various fields.
The Cabinet also reviewed the outcomes of President Al-Sisi’s meeting with His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, as well as the phone call between the Crown Prince and Russian President Vladimir Putin, which highlighted Saudi Arabia’s efforts to promote dialogue and achieve global peace.
Regional, Global Developments
The Cabinet reviewed recent regional and international developments, reaffirming the Kingdom’s call for urgent international intervention to end the famine in Gaza, halt the war of genocide, and stop crimes committed by Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian people.
Moreover, the Cabinet emphasized support for the resolutions of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Extraordinary Session held in Jeddah, aimed at stopping Israeli aggression and opposing measures to consolidate occupation in Gaza.
Position on Israeli Violations, Syria
The Cabinet strongly condemned ongoing Israeli violations, including incursions into Syria, and reaffirmed its support for Syria’s sovereignty, unity, and stability. It rejected any separatist movements threatening to divide the country.

Call for Peace in Sudan
The Cabinet reiterated its call for all Sudanese parties to uphold the Jeddah Declaration of May 2023, urging them to protect civilians, allow humanitarian aid access, and prioritize national interests to avoid prolonged conflict.
Support for Pilgrims, Umrah Performers
The Cabinet reviewed statistics on Umrah performers this year and reiterated the Kingdom’s dedication to welcoming and supporting pilgrims from their arrival until their safe return home.
Achievements in Islamic Service, Humanitarian Work
The Cabinet commended the success of the King Abdulaziz International Competition for Memorization, Recitation, and Interpretation of the Holy Quran, which hosted 179 contestants from 128 countries for the first time.
It also praised community engagement in the annual national blood donation campaign launched by the Crown Prince, which reinforces humanitarian values and ensures a sustainable blood supply across the Kingdom.
Human Capital Development, Employment
The Cabinet praised the Human Resources Development Fund for facilitating the employment of 267,000 Saudi citizens in the private sector during the first half of 2025, strengthening the Kingdom’s labor market and workforce competitiveness.

Support for Esports Sector
The Cabinet noted the Crown Prince’s attendance at the Esports World Cup closing ceremony as part of a national strategy to build a globally competitive esports industry, expected to generate 39,000 jobs and contribute SAR 50 billion to GDP by 2030.

The Cabinet addressed several agenda items and issued the following approvals and authorizations:
- Industrial Security – Authorizing the Minister of Interior to sign an MoU with Naif Arab University for Security Sciences.
- Islamic Affairs – Approving an MoU between the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and the Islamic Council of Madagascar.
- Mineral Resources – Approving cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Indonesia in mineral resources.
- Infrastructure and Construction – Authorizing the Minister of Investment to sign an MoU with Hong Kong (China) for information exchange in infrastructure and construction.
- Health Cooperation – Approving an MoU between Saudi Arabia and India in the health sector.
- Rights of Persons with Disabilities – Authorizing the signing of an MoU with Venezuela on disability rights.
- Civil Aviation – Approving cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait in civil aviation.
- Audit and Accountability – Authorizing the General Court of Audit to sign MoUs with the audit offices of Cyprus and The Gambia.
