Arab League Secretary-General Launches Arab-Italian Business Forum in Rome
Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit officially opened the Arab-Italian Business Forum in Rome today. The event, held in partnership with the Joint Italian Arab Chamber of Commerce and the Union of Arab Chambers, aims to strengthen economic ties between the Arab world and Italy.
During his opening address, Aboul Gheit stressed the importance of the forum’s focus on key sectors such as energy, infrastructure, sustainable agriculture, and tourism, which are of mutual interest to both Arab and Italian stakeholders.
He emphasized the forum’s potential to tackle shared economic and developmental challenges, calling for enhanced dialogue to transform the relationship into a strategic partnership that benefits both regions.
