Arab-African Energy Regulators Conference 2024 Kicks Off at Arab League Headquarters

The Arab-African Energy Regulators Conference 2024 commenced today at the General Secretariat of the Arab League in Cairo. Hosted in partnership with the Arab Electricity Regulatory Forum (AERF) and the African Forum for Utility Regulators (AFUR), the conference has brought together representatives from electricity regulatory authorities in 20 African nations and 15 Arab countries.
Over two days, the event seeks to enhance regulatory frameworks for public utilities, focusing on harmonizing policies, strengthening collaboration, and promoting the exchange of knowledge and best practices between Arab and African energy regulatory bodies.
