In an interview with Piers Morgan, the American political scientist Norman Finkelstein said that Israel was shooting Gazan children in their heads and chests.
“Let me ask you a simple question: if you are on a war with Gaza, why are you shooting children in the skull and in the chest?” Finkelstein asked.
He noted that the New York Times received a harsh criticism after publishing an article on that.
“They said we cannot refute the evidence; we have the X-Rays in front of us. They are shooting children in the head and in the chest,” Finkelstein explained.

Apart from this, he asked “If you are engaged in the war in Gaza, why are you killing journalists? Why are you killing medics? Why are you killing UN workers?”
“If you are engaged in the war with Hamas, why is it the Human Rights Watch just this past week put out a report,” in which “they tell people where to flee. They say: go to the safe zones,” he said.
Human Rights Watch said that when the people were directed, they were being shot at the road.
“Israel drops 2,000 bombs. That sound like a war or does that sound like a genocide?” he asked.
