Al-Hajraf: GCC countries pay great attention to Iraq’s stability
The Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf praised the efforts of the government of Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi to enhance security and stability in Iraq.
The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Dr. Nayef Al-Hajraf, stressed that the security and stability of Iraq is part of the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council, stressing the support of the Cooperation Council for Iraq in its war against terrorism and drying up its sources.
This came during Al-Hajraf’s reception at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Riyadh yesterday (Wednesday) for the Chargé d’Affairs of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq, Dr. Khaled Al-Shallal.
According to a press statement, during the reception, they discussed aspects of cooperation between the GCC countries and the Republic of Iraq and ways to strengthen relations, in addition to discussing the developments of the electrical interconnection program, developments in the regional situation, and issues of common interest.
