AI Games
During her talk at the panel discussion “Employing Artificial Intelligence in Enhancing Values in Children Using Interactive Games” at the Madinah Book Fair 2024, she explained that electronic games are not entirely useless. Despite their simplicity, these games benefit children by engaging them in stages and attempts that require thinking and analysis, aiding in problem-solving.
The researcher indicated that some games designed with augmented reality are a methodology that has begun to treat certain medical conditions in children. Additionally, this approach relies on attempting to understand the child’s medical suffering through the game to identify weaknesses and deficiencies, from which we can find the appropriate treatment. These games not only engage children in a therapeutic process but also make the treatment experience more enjoyable.
Moreover, by integrating medical insights with interactive technology, healthcare providers can tailor interventions to the individual needs of each child. Early studies have shown promising results, suggesting that augmented reality games could become a valuable tool in pediatric medicine.
