Israel Seeks to Broaden Peace, Normalization Efforts in Middle East: FM

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar said on Thursday that his country remains committed to expanding the circle of peace and normalization across the Middle East region, according to Al-Arabiya.

Saar also stated that he will support the proposed deal to release the Israeli hostages.

He revealed hopes that new political horizons will soon emerge for Israel, underscoring that even during hard times, he has continued to strengthen Israel’s relations with nations around the world.

As the Israeli cabinet prepares to vote on the US-brokered agreement between Israel and Hamas to end the two-year war on Gaza, the Israeli Foreign Minister said he would vote in favor of the hostage deal with great joy.

However, Saar said in a post on X that Israel’s challenges are far from over, noting that the country has not given up its wartime objectives.

Moreover, he emphasized that Israel has not abandoned its determination to end Hamas’ rule in Gaza and eliminate what he described as the Palestinian group’s ongoing threat to the Israeli security.
