
The President of Umm Al-Qura University, Dr. Maadi bin Muhammad Al-Madhhab, met at the university’s headquarters in the Al-Abdiyyah district with the Vice President of the University of Hong Kong for Education and International Relations, Professor Lo Sing Kai.
During the meeting, they discussed areas of cooperation between the two universities, focusing on scientific research, postgraduate programs, and the organization of joint workshops and lectures.

In another context, the Vice President of Umm Al-Qura University for Business Development and Community Partnership, Dr. Warda bint Abdullah Al-Asmary, held a meeting with the delegation from the University of Hong Kong for Education. This meeting was part of the joint collaboration framework between the two universities in the fields of training and professional development.

It is worth noting that the university launched the activities of a training program yesterday for faculty members from the University of Hong Kong. Moreover, the program includes workshops on research grant writing skills, artificial intelligence in education, skills for publishing in global scientific journals for new researchers, the initial stages of scientific publishing, and planning research proposals. The workshops were presented by a group of research professors from the University of Hong Kong.
