NIDLP Hosts 3rd 1K Mile Entrepreneur Training Camp

The National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP) organized the entrepreneurial bootcamp for the third edition of the “1K Mile” program, in the presence of the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Mr. Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef.

The three-day bootcamp, held at Prince Sultan University, aims to empower entrepreneurs by enhancing their core skills through training workshops in various fields. Additionally, these include licensing and government procedures in targeted sectors, available enablers as well as services specific to the industry, logistics, and mining sectors.

The bootcamp activities feature advisory and mentoring sessions, opportunities to network with experts in the field, and building an effective network within the ecosystem. Moreover, participants also benefit from innovation training, feasibility study improvements, exposure to inspiring experiences and success stories, and interactions with key officials from public and private sectors.

The entrepreneurial bootcamp raises awareness of services and support from organizations in the industrial and logistics ecosystem, helping entrepreneurs with their journeys, addressing inquiries, and exploring their ideas.

Notably, over 8,000 entrepreneurs applied for the program’s third edition, with more than 500 meeting the eligibility criteria.
