Civil Defense Acting Director General Major General Dr. Hammoud bin Suleiman Al-Faraj has headed the Ministry of Interior delegation to take part in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) meeting in Qatar, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Al-Faraj delved into the use of special fire brigades with members participating at the 33rd annual meeting of Civil Defense chiefs in Riyadh.
Chaired by Qatar, GCC member states highlighted the latest technologies deployed to handle high-rise building fires.

Furthermore, they addressed the threats and risks of the climate change and how to overcome the current challenges.
The participants underscored the significance of media cooperation in boosting civil defense efforts and strengthening public perception in the Gulf countries.
