Tourist accommodations in the Asir region are ready for the summer season. Extensive preparations ensure distinguished services in all hotels, hotel apartments, and serviced apartments.
According to the General Administration of Classification in the Ministry of Tourism, the Asir region had 148 tourist accommodation facilities as of early June. It also has serviced apartments with 111 facilities offering 3,332 rooms. There were 16 hotel apartments with 597 rooms, and hotels ranked third with 21 facilities offering 968 rooms.
Rural inns in Asir have been developed to host visitors in forests and on private farms. They offer a unique tourist experience with local cuisine, fresh fruits, and vegetables. These inns are located in Abha, Rijal Alma, Al-Souda, Al-Namas, Tanomah, and Bullasmar. Surrounded by picturesque landscapes, these inns provide a serene escape from urban life, allowing guests to immerse themselves in nature’s tranquility. Visitors can enjoy activities such as hiking, bird watching, and exploring traditional crafts. The warm hospitality of the local hosts adds to the charm, ensuring an unforgettable and authentic stay.
