Sarah Al-Suhaimi was born in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, in November 1979, into a family with a great history in the economic field; She was taught by her father, Jamaz Al-Suhaimi; Businessman, and the first president of the Saudi Capital Market Authority.

In March 2014, Sarah became the CEO and member of the board of directors of Al-Ahly Capital Banking Company – in the Dubai International Financial Center in the UAE – which provides credit investment advisory, portfolio and brokerage management, and market research services, as well as providing services to its clients in Saudi Arabia.
In 2013, Al-Suhaimi held the position of Vice Chairman of the Advisory Committee at the Saudi Capital Market Authority, and then traveled to the United States of America; to attend a Harvard University course majoring in public administration, which she completed in 2015.
In February 2017, the Saudi Council of Ministers chose her as part of the new formation of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Stock Exchange “Tadawul”.
Saudi Arabian Airlines
In a new distinction added to her honorable career, a decision was issued to appoint Sarah as a member of the Board of Directors of the General Organization of Saudi Arabian Airlines, in 2021; to represent the private sector within the Foundation, as the first woman to join the Foundation’s Board of Directors since its inception 75 years ago.
Journey of Achievements
During her tenure on the board of directors of “Tadawul”, the Saudi stock market advanced to the 21st place globally, according to the classification of the World Federation of Stock Exchange, and the value of trading reached about 8.5 billion riyals per day; that is about two trillion riyals annually.
In 2018, Sarah Al-Suhaimi became a member of the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders community and was ranked fourth in the list of the most powerful Arab women in Forbes Middle East magazine.
