KSrelief Continues to Support Afghanistan
Yesterday, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed 500 food baskets as part of initiatives to support Afghanistan.
3,000 individuals, including 500 families, benefited from it. The aid is part of a project to support Afghans returning to their country from Pakistan.
This comes within the framework of humanitarian projects presented by the Kingdom, represented by the Center, to support food security in countries in need around the world.

KSA Continues to Support Afghanistan
KSA has been actively involved in providing humanitarian aid to Afghanistan, especially in response to natural disasters and conflict-related crises. The Kingdom has also contributed to the reconstruction and development of infrastructure in Afghanistan.
In addition, KSA has supported capacity-building programs in Afghanistan, particularly in the areas of education, healthcare, and governance.
Furthermore, the continued support of KSA for Afghanistan reflects its commitment to promoting peace and stability in the region.

Afghanistan Conflict
The conflict in Afghanistan has been ongoing for decades. It includes various factions, the Taliban, government forces and international coalitions. The conflict has resulted in significant human suffering, displacement, and instability in the region.
International efforts, including those led by the United States and NATO, have aimed to stabilize Afghanistan, support the Afghan government, and combat extremist groups. Despite these efforts, the conflict has persisted, leading to a complex and challenging security situation.
Efforts to reach a peaceful resolution to the conflict have included negotiations between the Afghan government and the Taliban, as well as diplomatic initiatives involving regional and international stakeholders.
