Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Commerce has recalled 1,169 Lucid Air Pure vehicles from the 2024–2026 model years due to a defect involving the installation of driveshaft bolts, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The defect could cause the driveshaft to detach while the vehicle is in motion which may lead to a sudden loss of propulsion power.
This defect increases the risk of crashes and poses a significant safety threat to road users.
The ministry advised vehicle owners to check their vehicle identification number (VIN) through the Defective Products Recall Center website Recalls.sa.
It also urged vehicle owners to contact the authorized dealer, Lucid Motors, via its toll-free number, 8001111030, to schedule the necessary repairs, which will be provided free of charge.
The ministry noted that citizens can follow all recall campaigns for defective goods and products through the Recalls.sa.
