Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned and denounced the repeated and “heinous” Iranian attacks against the State of Kuwait, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
In a statement, the ministry reaffirmed the Kingdom’s “categorical rejection” of these attacks, underscoring that they undermine the sovereignty of the State of Kuwait and represent a clear breach of international law and the UN Charter.
It also warned that such violations threaten ongoing international efforts to restore regional security and stability.
At the same time, Saudi Arabia further emphasized its solidarity with Kuwait, government and people alike, reiterating its full support for all measures Kuwait undertakes to preserve its sovereignty, security, and stability, as well as the safety of its people.
On Monday, Kuwait’s air defense systems intercepted incoming missile and drone attacks, accusing Iran of launching the strikes.
Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry later said in a statement that it was “holding Iran fully responsible for these heinous attacks.”
