
The Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Madinah carried out an emergency air evacuation to assist a patient experiencing severe respiratory failure caused by chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Led by the chief paramedic, both ground and air medical teams worked together to deliver critical, life-saving care, stabilizing the patient before transporting him by air to a specialized hospital in Madinah.
Officials noted that the operation reflects the authority’s strong state of preparedness and its ongoing dedication to delivering advanced emergency medical services for critical cases.
