Record-Breaking Growth: Saudi Service Exports Hit $17.6 Billion in Q4 2025

Saudi Arabia’s economic diversification efforts reached a significant milestone as service exports surged to SAR 66.1 billion ($17.61 billion) during the fourth quarter of 2025.

The General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) released these figures in its latest International Trade in Services bulletin on Tuesday. While exports showed robust growth, service imports into the Kingdom reached SAR 119.6 billion during the same three-month period.

Travel and Tourism Fuel Export Growth

The Kingdom’s thriving tourism sector acted as the primary engine for this impressive quarterly performance in the services category. Consequently, travel services dominated the export list, contributing a substantial SAR 39.5 billion to the national total in Q4.

Furthermore, transport services maintained their position as the second-largest export category by generating SAR 10.5 billion for the economy. These figures highlight the success of Vision 2030 initiatives aimed at transforming the Kingdom into a global logistics hub.

On the other hand, transport services led the list of service imports as the Kingdom expanded its global trade infrastructure. The data shows that Saudi Arabia spent SAR 33.5 billion on international transport services to meet its growing logistical requirements.

In addition, travel services ranked second in terms of imports, with Saudi residents spending SAR 25.2 billion on overseas trips. These combined figures reflect the dynamic nature of the Saudi market as it integrates more deeply with global financial systems.
