The Jeddah Book Fair 2025 kicked off on Thursday at the Jeddah Superdome, bringing together participants from 24 countries around the world, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Organized by the Saudi Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission, the Jeddah Book Fair 2025 sees the participation of more than 1,000 local and international publishing houses and agencies, distributed across 400 exhibition booths.
The cultural event is running from December 11-20, 2025 under the theme “Jeddah Reads,” serving as a key platform for publishers, creators, and book enthusiasts from across the globe.
The Jeddah Book Fair 2025 hosts more than 170 cultural events, including seminars, panel discussions, lectures, poetry readings, and multiple workshops, featuring prominent writers and intellectuals.
Moreover, it dedicates an area for children, offering interactive events that blend culture with entertainment to hone children’s creative skills.
On this occasion, the Commission’s CEO, Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Wasel, said that the Jeddah Book Fair underscores the Commission’s efforts in developing the publishing industry, promoting creative talent, and enhancing the presence of Saudi publishers and writers.
He also highlighted this edition’s new initiatives, aimed at expanding the presence of local literature and elevating the visitor’s experience with quality programs.
The Jeddah Book Fair 2025 receives visitors daily from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM, and from 2:00 PM on Fridays.
