The inaugural Egyptian-Saudi International Franchise Expo (Franex 2026) opened in Cairo on Wednesday, bringing together government agencies, business organizations and international franchise specialists.
The three-day exhibition, running from July 1 to 3, features panel discussions and workshops on building successful brands, the role of franchising in economic growth, and trends shaping the future of the franchise industry.

The event also marks the launch of the Franchise Accelerator, the first specialized initiative designed to help businesses prepare for franchise expansion.
Organizers say the exhibition is intended to expand investment opportunities, support the growth of local and regional brands, strengthen economic cooperation between Egypt and Saudi Arabia, and reinforce both countries’ ambitions to become regional franchise hubs.
