
The General Assembly of the Arab Golf Federation has re-elected Yasir Al-Rumayyan as president for the 2025–2029 term. The decision was made during a meeting in Riyadh, held alongside the Pan Arab Men and Seniors Championship, with representatives from Arab federations and members of the executive office in attendance.
The assembly also selected the executive office for the new term, confirming Al-Rumayyan’s unopposed presidency through 2029. Mostafa Zein of the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation was elected first vice president, while Adel Al-Fayyad of the Bahrain Golf Association was chosen as second vice president. This leadership lineup brings together diverse Arab expertise and aims to support the federation’s continued progress.
The meeting concluded with a collective commitment from Arab federations to strengthen cooperation, advance development initiatives across the region, and support the federation’s goals to nurture a world-class Arab champion, broaden participation in the sport, and enhance its presence regionally and internationally.
