US Saudi Business Council Discusses Improving Automobile Industry in Saudi Arabia
The US Saudi Business Council, in cooperation with the National Industrial Development Center, organized a virtual symposium under the slogan “KSA Auto Connect” suppliers and manufacturers, reported Ajel.SA. During the meeting, industry leaders and officials exchanged views on developing the automobile industry in Saudi Arabia.
The discussion focused on investment opportunities and government support to achieve Saudi Vision 2030 in the field of localization of the automobile industry in Saudi Arabia.
Last February, KSA officially announced the establishment of the Saudi Car Manufacturers Association. Its primary goal is to promote and support the development of a robust and competitive automotive manufacturing industry within KSA. The association aims to facilitate collaboration among local manufacturers and enhance the skills and capabilities of the workforce in the automotive sector.
The Saudi Car Manufacturers Association focuses on domestic market. It also aims to establish KSA as a key player in the global automotive industry. By fostering collaboration between Saudi manufacturers and international automotive giants, the association aims to facilitate the exchange of knowledge.
