American political scientist Professor John Mearsheimer stated that the Israelis were executing a genocide and destroying Gaza.
John Mearsheimer, a professor of political science at the University of Chicago, has joined the Americano show with Freddy Gray to delve into how seriously we should take Trump’s foreign policy.
During the interview, Mearsheimer has raised a very important question regarding Trump’s plan for Gaza, “Why should the neighboring states pay for what Israel and the United States did in Gaza?”
In the same context, the interviewer replied, “because as a realist you should accept that it is in their regional interest.”
At this point, Mearsheimer noted that it is not their regional interest at all, it is about the fact that the US and Israel destroyed Gaza and committed a genocide.
Apart from this, the professor pointed out that Gaza became “unlivable”, and the Palestinians cannot live there anymore.
“It has been so thoroughly wrecked, and then the question is who wrecked Gaza? Who did this? And the answer is the Israelis,” Mearsheimer explained.
He also underscored that “Benjamin Netanyahu sitting right next to Trump and Netanyahu did it in cahoots with Joe Biden and the West, especially with the US.”
Therefore, he stressed that both the US and Israel should pay for rebuilding Gaza. “It is the Israelis and the Americans who destroyed Gaza, not the Egyptians or the Jordanians,” he said.
