The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has announced that a football match between the Saudi national team and its Chinese equivalent will be held in the United Arab Emirates as part of the World Cup Qatar 2022 qualifiers.
According to the federation’s official website, the match between Saudi Arabia and China will be held in the UAE, which will serve as a neutral venue for the forthcoming Asian qualifications, “The Road to Qatar,” in which China and Saudi Arabia will compete.
China is ready to meet Saudi Arabia in Group B on March 24, 2022, at the Sharjah Stadium, in a high-octane match that will see heated battle for a spot in the Qatar World Cup 2022.
The core matches in Group H will take place in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, from April 15 to May 1.
The Saudi team Al Hilal won the last edition of the AFC Champions League and qualified for the FIFA Club World Cup, which was hosted in the United Arab Emirates.
