Turning Point, Wallbox Agent, Signs Agreement with Lucid to Provide EV Home Chargers
Turning Point, the official agent for Wallbox in Saudi Arabia, has signed an agreement with Lucid Motors, the manufacturer of luxury electric vehicles, to establish comprehensive units of electric vehicle home chargers for Lucid cars in the Kingdom. The agreement was signed by Prince Fahd bin Nawaf bin Saud Al Saud, the CEO of Turning Point, in the presence of Faisal Sultan, the Executive Vice President of Lucid Middle East.
Before the signing, a new model of Lucid cars was showcased, highlighting the vehicle’s features, battery capacity, acceleration time, and the advantages of the new model.
Prince Fahd bin Nawaf, the CEO of Turning Point, stated that the company is the sole provider of home chargers for Lucid electric vehicles, emphasizing that the agreement aims to enhance the spread of home car chargers for Lucid vehicles in the Kingdom.
He also mentioned that electric vehicles play a pivotal role in achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. It will align with the vision of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to have electric vehicles constitute 30% of the total vehicles in the Kingdom by 2030, thereby supporting Saudi Arabia’s commitment to carbon neutrality.
On his part, Faisal Sultan, the Executive Vice President of Lucid Middle East, commented on the agreement, stating that the company extends its cooperation with Turning Point and marks a new step in the collaboration between Lucid Middle East and the company. It aims at supplying home chargers for Lucid Motors electric vehicles in the Kingdom.
Sultan emphasized that Lucid’s enhanced cooperation with Turning Point will offer its customers the best comfort and luxury options, along with the widespread availability of home car chargers in the Kingdom. It is poised to provide greater convenience and confidence for their clients.
