Trump Claims 11 Killed in US Strike on Venezuelan Narcoterrorists

President Donald Trump announced US forces killed 11 alleged “narcoterrorists” on Tuesday during a strike on a drug-carrying boat from Venezuela, claiming the vessel transported narcotics toward American shores under Nicolas Maduro’s control.

Trump shared a black-and-white video showing an exploding speedboat on Truth Social, stating, “On my orders, US Military conducted a kinetic strike against Tren de Aragua Narcoterrorists.” Furthermore, he emphasized the strike occurred in international waters with “lots of drugs” aboard. Notably, no US forces suffered harm during the operation.

Escalating Tensions

This action significantly intensifies US-Venezuela conflict after Washington deployed eight warships to Latin America. Meanwhile, Venezuela’s Maduro declared “maximum readiness” against alleged US military threats. He previously demanded UN intervention to halt US naval movements near Caribbean waters.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio reinforced Trump’s stance, vowing to use America’s “full might” against cartels. He confirmed the vessel departed Venezuela and pledged relentless action globally. However, Maduro’s re-election remains unrecognized by the US amid fraud allegations.

Washington doubled Maduro’s capture bounty to $50 million yet failed to oust him despite oil sanctions. Analysts suggest the naval deployment pressures Maduro, who warned of “armed struggle” if attacked. Consequently, Trump’s strike signals aggressive new tactics in the drug war.

The president concluded with a stark warning: “BEWARE! Let this serve as notice to anyone bringing drugs into America.” His administration insists Tren de Aragua operates under Maduro’s direction as a designated terrorist group.
