Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Transport and Logistic Services, Saleh Al-Jasser, has concluded an official visit to Italy, accompanied by a delegation representing the Kingdom’s transport and logistics sectors. The visit was aimed at strengthening economic ties and expanding investment cooperation between the two nations.
Al-Jasser led the Saudi delegation during a Saudi-Italian roundtable that brought together key figures from both government and private sectors. Discussions centered on advancing partnerships and exploring investment prospects aligned with Saudi Arabia’s National Transport and Logistics Strategy.
Throughout the visit, the minister held meetings with public and private sector leaders to foster collaboration in the fields of transport and logistics and to deepen bilateral economic relations. He also toured Italian companies and government institutions specializing in luxury rail systems and smart road technologies, where he examined cutting-edge innovations and discussed potential areas of collaboration.
The trip aimed to create new avenues for economic growth and development while encouraging Italian private-sector firms to seize emerging opportunities through increased foreign direct investment in Saudi Arabia.
