Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Tourism, Ahmed Al-Khateeb, has launched the Saudi Winter 2025 program to attract more visitors worldwide, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
During a ceremony held in Riyadh on Sunday, Al-Khateeb offered a comprehensive overview of the program, and the events calendar.
“Winter is Alive”
Themed “Winter is Alive,” the program features a vast array of distinctive tourism seasons and experiences held at key Saudi Winter destinations, including the seasons of Riyadh, Diriyah, AlUla, and Al-Khobar.
Moreover, the program highlights a wide range of tourism offerings, cultural landmarks, and heritage experiences.
Thus, the upcoming season will play a crucial role in attracting visitors from targeted regional and international markets.
Promising Destinations
Set to run through the first quarter of 2026, the Saudi Winter program will unfold in numerous phases, offering more than 1,200 tourism experiences and over 600 exclusive offers across key destinations such as Riyadh, Diriyah, Jeddah, AlUla, the Red Sea, and the Eastern Region.
Interestingly, the program will also spotlight the charm of Qassim, Hail, and Madinah, providing travelers with an exceptional glimpse into the Kingdom’s abundant natural beauty, diverse climates, and vibrant cultural heritage.
“The launch of Saudi Winter 2025 offers a new opportunity to further establish Saudi Arabia as a prestigious global winter destination,” Al-Khateeb said.
New Experiences
As for the new experiences, the upcoming program will boast live concerts, cultural performances, theatrical productions, poetry nights, as well as family and beachside activities in the season of Al-Khobar.
Among the new experiences are the AlUla Wellness Festival, the World Rally Championship, and the F1H2O UIM World Championship powerboat race in Jeddah.
A special collaboration with MrBeast and the WWE Royal Rumble event will further capture the attention of several visitors.
