The Kingdom hosts International Metrology Forum
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia hosts the International Forum on Metrology through video communication today, Tuesday, under the slogan Measurement for Health.
The event is being hosted by the Saudi Organization for Standardization, Metrology, and Quality with Dr Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, Minister of Commerce and
Chairman of the Authority’s Board of Directors.
The forum brings together a group of experts and representatives from international organizations to discuss different metrology sector experiences and enhance the Kingdom’s regional and global leadership in the field.
Dr Martin Molten, Anthony Donnellan (Director of the International Bureau of Legal Metrology), and Graham Machin from the United Kingdom’s National Institute of Metrology are expected to speak.
The forum includes a panel discussion entitled Measurement for Health and two workshops: The Impact of Measurement in the Health Field and Measurement is Possible for Industrial Growth.
The authority called people and specialists interested in attending the events and workshops to register through the forum’s website.
