Riyadh Season, Saudi Tourism Authority Ink Strategic Partnership
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority Turki Al-Sheikh and the Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Tourism Authority Ahmed Al-Khateeb signed in Riyadh on Thursday, a strategic partnership for international events, between the Riyadh Season 2023 and the Saudi Tourism Authority, represented by “The Spirit of Saudi Arabia.”
This partnership opens the doors to the public to attend the Riyadh Season events.
It is an extension of the distinctive and strategic agreements and sponsorship contracts for this year’s Riyadh Season edition, which bears the “Big Time” logo, with a group of national and international entities and companies, which are keen to sponsor the season’s events.
Under this agreement, information and experiences will be exchanged, a number of joint initiatives will be developed, rewards programs will be launched for visitors of the season, and tourists will be attracted to enjoy multiple attractions, including distinguished facilities, cultural, entertainment and sports activities, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The signing of the memorandum of understanding came within the framework of cooperation and integration between government agencies, to draw broad lines and achieve common goals.
It is within the context of the Riyadh Season’s efforts in excellence, innovation and diversity, as it contributes to increasing the number of tourists and stimulating the tourism movement in the Kingdom.
The Ministry of Tourism recently announced that the Kingdom has occupied the second place globally in the growth rate of tourist arrivals during the first seven months of 2023.
The General Entertainment Authority is looking forward to more partnerships with government and private bodies to serve the entertainment sector in Saudi Arabia, in addition to attracting major and influential companies to benefit from sponsoring the season’s events which attract visitors from all over the world to Riyadh, the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
