The stage is set tomorrow for the eagerly awaited final stage of the sixth edition of the Crown Prince Camel Festival at Taif Camel Square in Taif Governorate, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Organized by the Saudi Camel Federation, the final stage will feature 250 rounds of competition, including 16 rounds dedicated to the festival cups and races for both men and women.
The competition offers a total prize pool exceeding SAR 56 million for winners of the various races.
The preliminary stage of the festival witnessed a large participation of camel owners from inside and outside the Kingdom, reaching 2,282 camel owners.
The 6th edition has set a new record with 11,219 camels, highlighting an increase of 823 camels over last year’s edition, which witnessed the participation of 10,396 camels.
