Dr. Mohammed bin Saud Al-Tamimi, Chief Executive of the Saudi Space Agency, took part in a high-level strategic panel at the 40th Space Symposium in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The panel, titled “Sustainability: Practices and Responsibilities for the Future of Space,” gathered global leaders from space agencies, industry experts, policymakers, and representatives of specialized organizations to address the future of sustainability in space.
Dr. Al-Tamimi emphasized the importance of responsible space practices to safeguard resources for future generations. He addressed current challenges facing the sector and outlined potential solutions to promote long-term sustainability in space activities.
Highlighting the Kingdom’s commitment to innovation and international collaboration, he also showcased Saudi initiatives aimed at supporting scientific research and advancing technologies that ensure sustainable space operations.
